The Katherine & District Show has always been a major event on the Katherine calendar drawing people from all over the region, from across the Territory and Northern Australia. Over 25,000 people regularly attend the show. In 2009 we celebrated our 44th Show, what an outstanding event this was, lots of entertainment for kids and adults alike from the normal sideshow alley to Polocrosse and the V8 Ute Challenge. No empty trade sites were available this year.

We would like to thank past sponsors for their patronage of the Katherine Show and welcome new sponsors. Without the support of the business community the Show would not be the success that it has become. We would like to invite you to become a Gold, Silver or Bronze Sponsor of the 2010 Katherine & District Show, our 45th Show. Other levels of sponsorship are available. Please contact the Show Secretary by ringing or calling into the office at your convenience.

Promotional Benefits to Sponsors

Pre-promotions will be achieved through media: the Katherine Times, local and ABC radio  and our web site. Your business will be displayed in the Katherine Show Schedule and posters throughout the Pavilions and on our website. On-site promotions will include announcements over the public address system (30 second spiel to be supplied by sponsor) and banners at the Showground. Gold sponsors will have their name printed on the KDSS car passes and will be included on all administrative documents.

Main Street Banners - Gold Sponsors will be acknowledged by banners placed on poles at both ends of the Katherine Terrace.

Showground Banners - We ask that the sponsor provide us with the required amount of banners as per their level of sponsorship, so our ground staff can display the banners effectively around the grounds anywhere from the Rodeo/Campdraft arena to the Cattle/Horse area, the front fence and in the Pavilions. Public Address Announcements will be heard throughout the day acknowledging all sponsors.

Sponsorship Levels

Gold Sponsors: $5,000 + GST

Gold Sponsors will receive a free A5 size advertisement in the show schedule and five (5) Double Memberships which include 5 car passes. Gold sponsors can display 5 banners around the show grounds. Sponsors at this level will have a web link added to the Show website including their logo and a small advert about their business (Sponsors will need to supply the relevant information).

Silver Sponsors: $3,000 + GST

Silver sponsors will receive a 1/2 A5 size advertisement in the show schedule and three (3) Double Memberships which include 3 car passes. Silver sponsors can display 3 banners around the show grounds. Sponsors at this level will have a web link added to the Show website (Sponsors will need to supply the relevant information).

Bronze Sponsors: $1,000 + GST

Bronze sponsors will receive a 1/4 A5 size advertisement in the show schedule and one (1) Double Membership pass which includes 1 car pass. Bronze sponsors can display 2 banners around the show grounds. Sponsors at this level will have their business name listed on the Show website.

Thank You Articles

All sponsors will again be prominent in thank you articles and advertising printed in the Katherine Times after the completion of the show.

All letters sent out will have a footnote and all emails will have a header showing the Gold Sponsors logos.
