SPECIAL REGULATIONS

  1. All cattle must have NLIS tags & be read into the cattle pens and read out on departure.
  2. All stock must have NT Waybills and this will be policed by DPIFM inspectors.
  3. All stud cattle must be on the Showground's by 4 pm Wednesday 14 July 2010.
  4. The age of all stud cattle shall be the actual age as at 26 June 2010.
  5. All male cattle in Led Classes must be weighed. The weigh-in will be at 5.30pm at the Showground's on Wednesday 14 July 2010.
  6. Judging will start at 9 am, on Thursday 15 July 2010
  7. Handler Awards C22- C24 judging will commence at 9am sharp Friday 16th July. The handler only need nominate for these classes and may lead any breed. Judging classes C25-C27 will follow the Handler Classes.
  8. Winning exhibits in Led Classes must enter the Grand Parade on Friday at 1 pm.
  9. Cattle must remain on the Showground's until 2.30pm Saturday 16 July.
  10. Exhibitors must make arrangements with the Regional Veterinary Officer regarding the health status and legal requirements for the movement of cattle.
  11. Bedding hay will be provided by KDSS. Cattle are stalled in pens.
  12. All Stud Class Bulls must be registered pure bred.
  13. All Stud Class Females must be registered pure bred.
  14. Any female with a calf at foot competing in a class, shall not be accompanied by the calf, where the calf is competing in a class of its own, or where the calf is over six months old.
  15. All animals, both male and female, over 12 months of age must be ringed or dogged when being led/handled on the Showground's. This rule will be enforced even if it means abandoning the class.
  16. The Stewards will note handling ability and may take out any unruly beasts.
  17. Exhibitors are required to pay particular attention to the completion of entry forms, which should be completed in detail, as it is from this document that the catalogue will be compiled.
  18. The Steward is responsible for the smooth flowing of the show and his decision is final.
